Yah, only weak spot is the frame rails where you attach the bumper with 4 bolts

Blue01: Yup, you got a good point there... dem bolts arn't much when you stick a 12k lb winch on the front, and get a 10k lb truck stuck in a ditch next winter...

I was thinking of extra tie ins to the frame when I armor the front of my truck. I need to build a winch bumper for the front of my K-30, I'll end up with about 6 - 1/2" grade 8 bolts with flats and lock washers, from bumper to frame ON EACH SIDE.... the bumper on the K-5 Blazer helps brace the notoriously weak chevy frame around the steering box, the one for the K-30 will do the same.

The bumper for the F350 might get farmed out to a friend, he's made one for his truck, and I like it, need to go over details like this with him though...

Gonna have to get some of thoes headlights... can't say it enough... I really like 'em.

Rig looks GREAT!!!

I upgraded my bolts to some ungodly grade and added two to each mount. Nice of Ford to only put two in each when there are FOUR holes.....???

Exactly -- also look at the frame rail with all the crush zones in them... not exactly made to hold a huge load up front

I am quite surprised that there are as many people on here saying they hit a deer and it didn't do any damage..check those crush zones for cracking or chipping paint and you might be surprised..

but, they do look cool and add protection for minor accidents!
