That bumper looks good.

I really like the built in driving lights.

Who makes that bumper? It looks close to what I'm looking for.

How do you like 'em?
Well minus a few wiring issues, they are great. Had to wire the LEDs into the main headlamp wires for power since I did'nt know where else to put em, but other than that they work great. Also had to shave a bit off of the plastic frame to get em in since I did the bumper before the headlights.

I got it custom built for the truck at a welding shop in Libby, MT called Twinkle Welding. They're great guys to work with and have tons of stuff for 4x4s. Definately on my approved list.

Hey thanks everyone for the compliments. I really love this bumper. Day that I picked it up I almost ate a Mazda Miata on the drive home. As for deer...lets just say that it works great for them as well. Already hit on of those and it didn't do a thing to the bumper, can't say the same for the deer; messed him up really bad. Hope that it works as well on elk. Maybe I'll be having some back staps for dinner one day. Had to take it through the car wash and hose the crap off the front...and I do mean crap. Hit the deer in the back side and it S*&T all over the front of my truck. Worst smelling thing I've ever run over. lol

I hit a deer once at about 60 mph, dead center of the bumper, truck was lifted, splattered mooshed deer parts all along the bottom of the truck... it was dripping when I got home, very hard to hose off once you let it dry. Smelled for weeks, even after I hosed it off...

However, my post today isn't about the interactions and relationships of deer and bumpers... I was wondering how you like the new head lights... want to get some myself, and was wondering how much better than the stock lights they are... if nothing else, they look really cool, and even better with that awesome bumper...

Driving lights are great when they're on. Unfortunately the shop wired em up so that they only come one with the brights. I've got to do some digging into the wiring and get em so that I can switch them on when ever I would like. They shine low enough so that it won't blind oncoming vehicles so I don't know why they did that. As for the headlights, they are great. I think that I may have wired something up wrong and let the smoke out of the original set of bulbs that came with em, but new bulbs now and better wiring and they are brighter than ever. Definate plus over the stock lights...but the plastic cover on my stock ones was starting to get yellow and hazy lookin so anything would have been an improvement. I'm sure that there is some cleaner that would have taken that oxidation off but these look so much better IMO. They were a bit difficult to install with no directions, but lucky for me I was able to fliger it out. Tell ya now to do the wiring right the first time with solder and heat shrink tubing and you'll have no problems...hence the smoke flowing out of the assembly when I first put em in. Got too excited and worked too fast; another lesson learned.

Oh, let me assure you...it's hard as he*^. Mashed my elbow on it after work today and that sucker still hurts after 45 minutes. It's 1/2" steel all over. Not a weak spot in it.
