In Cab Noise!!!

alright.. well idk if im the only one but between the mud grapplers and the turbo, the inside of my cab is SOOOO LOUD!!! i hate it.. im getting new tires soon and im getting the toyo open country so that will be a little better but i want the cab to be quieter...
i hate to have to let off the gas to talk to my passenger because all ii hear is turbo.. idk if this bothers anyone else but it does me..

soo what im getting to is what can i do to make my trips a little quieter!? ive been looking into the sound deadening mats but there pretty expensive.. is there any good alternative sound deadening mats anyone knows of that are good??

has anyone done something like rubberized spray coating or something like that on the fire wall and the bottom of your trucks??

Switch to some tires that aren't mud terrain and steam roller sized, and I'm sure the noise will decrease a ton. Adding a muffler and not having a huge tip on the exhaust will also quiet it down some.

Yeah i have mud grapplers and i honestly love the sound of them but i will admit they are very loud. Not to much you can do about it besides switch tires man

i am switching tires.. and the loud turbo whine in the cab is coming from under the hood not the exhaust

dont get me wrong.. i love hearing my friends tell me they heard me from miles away.. but its just toooo much.. especially on the highway

Pull the carpet and spay undercoating on the floor, and put some insulation down, then put the carpet back in. The insulation is only like $40 bucks for a roll and it should only take 2-3 rolls max.

I actually have 2 rolls in the attic that are going in my 70 mach 1 project. I will look at the brand in the morning, forgot the name of it.
