Just for clarification ..Is this mod intended for chipped or programmed Powerstrokes?? I would guess the stock programming wouldnt get boost pressure close enough to have to "fool" the pcm anyway?..

Newbie ?? sorry..

you are correct - you shouldn't need to fool the map sensor unless you are running higher boost - which is likely going to be because of programmers or bigger turbos or whatever

Its meant to stop the de-fueling once your turbo reaches its pre-set limit, whatever that is. Mine dumps at about 26/28.

So, when the turbo dumps, is that the big whooshing sound that comes from intake?

I would like to have one if you don't mind sending it. I'll PM you with my mailing address. The only reason I don't run my hot tune is because of the overboost code. This sounds like the fix.

mine is still defueling... I dont know why I did it they way it was supposed to be done.. guess I may need to do it mechanically since electrical is not working on my truck..

so I still cant get the whole feel of the extreme setting

sawyer1 said his did the same thing CJ -- said he was ordering some different diodes and would let me know if they worked or not... thought he may have gotten the wrong one..

one thing to do is ask Tony if his tunes change anything with how much voltage the MAP sensor see's or receives (ie maybe you're putting out so much boost at a lower voltage?!?!)

I have no idea if that is possible... but was just thinking outloud
