Tire Recommendations

Hello folks. I'm new to the 99 forum, as of 3/10. Sold my '97 and bought a 2000 7.3 4x4 Crew Cab. Shopping for tires. Vehicle will be used in the following manner:

1) Weekly road trips up to the lake (50 min trip)
2) Towing 6000 boat, 300 mile round trip, twice a year.
3) Monthly trips out to the farm (muddy roads and fields).

I might as well get an aggressive tread, bc the last thing I need is a weekend rig that cant get down down a muddy road or get out of a wet field.

So I've studied Tirerack reviews and found the BFG T/A KM2 to offer a great combination of off road and on road performance. Trying to keep the highway noise down and maintain ride quality - yes I realize that mud tires typically do neither.

I'm looking at 285/75/16 E range.

2000 F250 Super Duty 4x4 7.3 six speed. Crew Cab w/ 117k miles. 285/75/16 BFG MK2s :.

Toyo M/T. I am running my second set and I love them. Last around 50k, awesome in mud, and only get loud when they get close to worn out.

I'm running the BFG T/A's and LOVE them! I've got an 01 250 and the road noise is a non issue.
