royal purple atf (not a discussion)

Going to flush my transmission this weekend. I found a great deal on royal purple atf. Trans is already holding a little more power than what I'd like it too so looking to do the best thing for the trans. It's getting a tru cool 40k cooler and in line filter at the same time. Does royal purple meet mercon specs? Is it going to be ok to run or should I just stick with regular mercon spec fluid? Hoping the synthetic keeps it happy but I don't want it to cause problems.

I've been running it for 10k miles now. I see MUCH lower trans temps and get 1-2 mpg better. I don't know where but I researched it before i switched and it was highly recommended (on this forum)
