Just ordered my PHP Phoenix

Well after flipping a broken Macbook on eBay, I have the cash on hand to buy a chip. After much deliberation between DP, TW and PHP, I had to go with PHP. The more I thought about it, the more it became a no brainer. I'm super pumped to get it and try it out over spring break when we go to Daytona Beach. Interestingly enough, our route takes us right by PHPs shop. Might have to stop by.

The tunes I got were:
1100 High Idle
Stock (for e-check)
65hp Tow
80hp Daily
120hp Race
Whisper Mode

Sooooooo pumped!

The price, the care and the reputation.

You cant beat the $295.

The care that they have is evident. Their decision to discontinue their Smoke Show tune, pretty stand up in my book. All of the questions they ask when ordering. They want to make sure they get everything just right for you and your truck.

The reputation that they have seems to speak for itself. Obviously every company is going to have a few blunders every now and again, but PHP seems to go out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of.

I will be sure to update everyone when I get it in the mail. Anyone who has ordered from them before care to share how long it took for them to receive it?

We had a G2G at their shop in Winder, GA a couple weeks ago. Bill and his wife Corey are the nicest people you will ever meet, and they know what theyre doing. Im glad you went with them, you wont regret it.

I got the FU... It took about a week to get it, but I guess the delay was getting my programmer in.

The Dyno day at there shop convinced me to get my chip from them. The care and hospitality they showed us was top notch.

I can't wait until the next Dyno day to see what my truck turns with the chip

I have also come down to PHP or DP tuners to upgrade my old BD chip in a 2000 350 DRW.

My question is this. There are a few threads that talk about how smokey the DP tunes are....specifically the 80/daily. Is this true and can anyone give feedback?

How does the PHP 80/daily perform from a smoke output standpoint? I'm looking for a tune without the added smoke. PHP may be the one.

I tow 15k when loaded and daily the truck 2-3 times a week.

Thanks

I have both DP and php tunes on my trucks. The dp is on my super duty and the php on my obs. With the dp on 80 econo under WOT I get a bit of smoke but not bad. That would be expected though. PHP does not smoke but that is to stock injectors and 15* hpop on the obs.

the easiest way to choose between dp and php is that php uses a chip that like 10 different people can tune, some time down the road you might want to try swamps or beans or gearheads or tyrants ect tunes and all you have to do is send them your chip. well and rf interference is less of a worry with a ts style chip
