Need advice on truck takedown please....

I love my truck and I want to be able to work on her by myself, however I'm pretty new to this stuff.

Are there any good sources that can take me through different procedures step by step? i.e. taking heads off, removing transmission..... You know, the more complicated type of work that takes time and specific knowledge.

Anything would be helpful, books, video series, a helpful powerstroke veteran in my area that would be willing to give a green horn a hand....
