Dying Injectors. I think.
I've known for sometime now that my injectors where having problems.
When the truck is cold started 1 or more injector does not fire untill the engine warmed up, and depending on the temp outside was how bad it was. At times seems like it would only be firing on 5 cyclinders.
Now.. when the engine is up to temp, at idle the truck just rocks as if it was missing, but does not sound like its missing and does not run like its missing.
It still runs great, but idle its puffing white smoke..ALOT. Looks as if you just started an ol Cat engine in -10* weather. Also After only 1,000 miles it has used 2 qts of oil, and its not leaking it on the ground.
So I guess my question is, is this a stuck open injector causing this?
