weird wiper issue

when you turn on the intermentint wipers the wiper will get power for just a second and quit,it only moves a couple inches. The low and high speeds work fine but it wont lay at the very bottom if you dont shut it off just right. Is there a adjustment or something i need to clean so it knows where and when to stop?

I think it's the wiper control knob. Mine will sometimes work normal, and then sometimes work on wipe, then nothing until you wiggle it or operate at wrong speeds.

not necessary by what you've said however you had not given much info as well. have you checked to make sure the motor is still not running and wipers are not moving?
