Super Duty and OBS ring and pinions??

Are the rear ends the same size? my dad and i want to swamp rind and pinions but the question came up of 10.25 and 10.50, so are they the same, if yes or no, can the R&P be traded? thanks and help is appreciated!

No, you can use a 10.25 in a 10.5 but not a 10.5 in a 10.25.

At makes sense. Now the real question is my 99 f250 a 10.25? For some reason inwas thinkin mine was a 10.5 cause ms and my dad weren't sure...
