2000 F350 Gooseneck hitch question

My truck came with a gooseneck hitch from the factory but I have no ball and im having a hard time finding one. Does anyone have a 2000-2004 with a factory hitch with a ball? It has the lever in the D-side wheel well. Is there anything else that I am missing? The hole for the ball looks quite large for the size of the ball. It appears that the pin only insertes 1" into the socket for the ball. Is that all that is needed? Is there anything that locks the ball in place? Im a noob to gooseneck hitches.

Thanks

Orio

Ford didn't offer a factory GN hitch until recently...

No factory GN hitch back then.
Post a pic. I think you may have a B&W hitch.

Ill try and get a pic tomorrow. Everything is welded in place thats why I figured it was factory. The handle that goes to the hitch has to be 5/8" to 3/4" diameter and is spring loaded close to the hitch..

Just do a google search for gooseneck ball, mine is a b&w and I ordered a ball from a trailer place online.. My friend has another hitch which looks different from mine but the ball still fits fine in it

Mine's not a B&W turnover (Dad's got one though) Not sure what brand mine is. All I know is that I gotta pull the handle out to bring the ball up, and straight back in to drop it. No flipping required. The ball's shank is round, not square.

If it's welded in it's not B&W. Might be just some custom one, who knows. I see plenty in there.

No idea on brand. Hard to know without a sticker or known brands to compare to.
What does it look like in the bed?

My Samsung SGH-I997 made me send this.
