Another lift recommendation question

My '02 is going to be used for two purposes -
1. occasional towing about a 10k trailer trips - 2,000 to 3,000 miles round trip, interstate highway speeds, maybe twice a year.
2. frequent towing/driving lumber trails, 4x4 crawling along for around the farm type use.

For #1 I'm set up fine. For #2 I'd like to get several more inches of clearance.

Any advice on what I should get for a lift for #2 w/o making #1 implausible.
/edit - I don't want to do a 3,000 mile trip 12" higher, noisy as heck.

I've got a brand new set of tires on all 6 wheels, so I could see buying new rims and bigger, more aggressive tires for the farm type use and swapping the tires for the twice a year trips. But I'd like to get the lift first.

Hints please.

I'd go with a 4" all spring lift and 35" tires. Should still tow pretty well, but give you the clearance of 35s without rubbing. Just my opinion though
