Questions about a leveling kit
Ok, so I just got my first powerstroke (02 F250 4x4) and I want to level it out. I've been looking into the Rough Country 2" AAL, but I heard from someone that I need new track bar pieces?? Can anyone shed some light on this. I'd much rather spend $75 on this than $250 on a different brand if I don't have to. Thanks for your help

I bought a leveling kit that included 2.5" springs and some new parts for the track bar. It was my first experience with a lift. With that said I could not get the nuts loose to install the parts for the trak bar. I got the springs installed (you must apply heat to get the loc-tight to turn loose from several nuts) and thought I would save the parts for the trac bar to only install after I got an alignment and was told I had to install the parts. Again, this was my first lift experience. I got an alignment an was told it was perfect nothing needed. I did add a leaf to the rear at the same time and thought surly after removing both front and rear axles I needed an alignment. To my amasment they said they did not need to touch it. Now 200,000 miles later those trak bar parts are still in a box in my shed! If you need them cover the shipping and I will ship them to you, I don't think I need them!

Well that's good to hear! I think I'm going to go ahead and order either the RC one, or another one on custom-diesel.com that looks pretty good too. I don't think either of them come with track bar links, so if I end up needing them, I'll definitely take you up on that offer!
