My 2001 7.3 won't start!!!

my truck won't start i'm stumped it's a 01 f550 dump, i need this to deliver mulch and this happens? help please!

What is it doing? I had a 450 the fuel cutoff switch tripped when it was loaded.

WTS Light? - do you get it when you first roll-on the key?

Tach Movement? - does the tach needle move up slightly when cranking? (some '01s aren't supposed to though, do you have a digital odometer?)

Fuel - pump runs? Tank below 1/4? Is there fuel in the fuel bowl now? Does it refill after cranking? (open the drain level to check)

Is it cranking fast enough? - it won't even TRY to start if cranking really slowly.

Has the "Check Engine" been coming on at all? - codes would be the fastest way to direct you. Unfortunately, it takes a special scanner to retrieve them...

Its cranking pretty slow while hooked up to my truck on jumper cables. Would batterys or glow plugs have to do with this?

If it doesnt crank fast it will not start. I would check all your connections if its still cranking slow when its hooked to another truck.
