Oil filtration system's
Okay just wondering if any of you guys are running like the fs2500 oil filtration system or one like it and is it worth the money? I have always heard it was better on the motor since it kept the oil cleaner? But I was just wondering since the price of motor oil Keeps going up if the system worked if it would pay for itself since you Wouldn't have to change the oil as often or if it's just a waste of money!! Thanks

I have a FS2500 on my truck, but I'm not a good person to tell you if its worth it or not. I work from home, so I only put 4-5k miles on it a year. Never had any issues with the setup... no leaks, etc, but with so little miles being put on it, I couldn't argue one way or another if it's worth it or not.

i run gulf coast bypass filters on all my trucks.
Model 0-1 Bypass Oil Filter its keeps it super clean, adds a quart or so of oil to the capacity, and when your in a pinch you can throw a roll of paper towels in it as a filter element. You can often find them on ebay for under 150-300 dollars |
