'01 7.3 underspec'd hp and torque?

Were 7.3 PSDs underspec'd or is mine some sort of superstar? at the crank ratings were 250hp and 505 ft-lbs for factory automatics. Yesterday I had mine dyno'd at PHP and my at the wheel numbers were 242hp and 504ft-lbs. I would have expected a drivetrain loss of 15-20% with results more like 215/430.

Performance mods to my engine are AIS intake with Zoodad and 4" MBRP exhaust with muffler. The only work to my truck other than regular maintenance is the Ford HD4R100 transmission, passenger side UVCH and the IDM (new Ford unit). I'm the original owner and it's never been tuned... Factory PMT3 tune on the ECM. My truck has 195000 miles on it.

I'm curious...
1. How long have you had the AIS system installed?
2. How long are your OCI?
3. What oil have you been using during the 7.3L lifetime?

Alot of other questions... but I won't waste your time...

My AIS is only a few weeks OLD...Same with my Exhaust. maybe 1000 miles total.
I change the oil and filter every 5000 miles. Fuel Filter ever 10,000.
Motorcraft Filter (FL-1995) with Rotella-T 15-w40. Racor or Motorcraft (same thing) fuel filters.

I'm very particular about the service on my truck. I think the oil may have been changed 1 time by someone other than myself (the dealer). The Fuel filter has always been done by myself. Short of the new transmission, UVCH and IDM, the only other work not done by me was some warranty stuff when it was new.

I have heard lots of people say they were rated lower then the actual numbers they run.
