how big is the exhaust

What size is the exhaust on a 99 7.3? From the turbo all the way back.

I think the downpipe is 3 inch, 3.5 after that. Can't tell you for sure though, mine had a 4 inch from the turbo back when I bought it...ain't goin' back either lol

Sounds about right. I just cut my stock exhaust off my '01. The down pipe was smaller than the rest and there were flattened out areas in the tail pipe making it smaller.

Your sig says you have that Fumoto drain valve on your oil pan. How do you like that and how easy does it come open, or could it get knocked open by debris such as standing corn stubble in a picked field?

I just put it in the last oil change, so no real reviews yet. No leaks with it after 4200 miles. It seemed to open and close real well when I messed with it after installing.

It only hangs down about an inch from the oil pan. While I guess you could knock it off, there's a lt of other stuff lower on the truck that would be getting klunked first.

we have one of those drain valves on our semis that we use when we are cutting corn and we have had corn stalks knock them open before.
