Stage 1 injectors

I'm going to be getting injectors in the next few weeks with my tax return. I've been looking at stage 1s but last night I saw stage 1.5 (160/30%) I wanted stage 2 originally but didn't want to destroy the stock turbo and trans. Would the 1.5s be more power than the 1s but not enough to destroy stock stuff like the 2s?

Sold 2001 f250 ccsb 4x4 400/400, dual terminators, swamps 80mm bfh, headers, bts and all the usual supporting mods. 715hp fuel only.

What is your overall HP goal? Is there a chance you'll want bigger injectors down the road?

I'd just go with the stage 2s, personally. Those would provide more than enough fuel for most anything you'd want the truck to do.

2001 F250, 7.3, Automatic, 4x4, 33's, Leveled, Cobra 29 CB Radio, Dual Firestick Whips, Pioneer Head Unit, Riffraff 6637 Intake Kit, 4" turbo-back straight pipe, Dual Alternator Upper Radiator Hose, AutoMeter Boost, Pyro, Trans Temp, Delta Toolbox, Gooseneck Hitch and a heavy right footed driver...

Wishlist: 160cc single shots, GT38r, BTS, SRP 1.1

honestly man stage 1's are too much for a stock turbo. with those 160/30's, 38r, and an srp1 i think you could make 420 horse on good tunes which is more than enough to tear stuff up

See I was planning on stage 1 or 1.5, gt38r, and either a t500 or Srp1. I didnt want to have to do all the supporting mods for stage 2s

See I knew they'd be taxing stuff so I already did a valve body will be doing a gtp38r with the core refund and I'm going to look into a torque converter and a 6.0 transcooler at the same time. I'll probably put in some overtime and try to buy a hpop soon after too. I figured that'd be the best route to try to avoid breaking stuff until I get a built tranny. What's your opinion on that?

seems pretty solid, i wouldn't get a torque converter in a stock trans because when i does crap out it will be ruined. i would definitely do a regulated return though.

I forgot to mention I'll be doing that too. I just didn't know if the torque converter would help it out. I'll admit he one thing I know very little about is automatic trans. Thanks for the input bruce.

You can pick up some stage 1 160cc or 180cc single shot injectors. They shouldn't be too much for your stock stuff for now and if you get a 38r down the like they'll work good for that too. BTW a healthy stock HPOP will keep up with those injectors.

I know quite a bit about injectors just never heard of the stage 1.5s. stage 2s are bigger than what I want I don't want the supporting mods of a stage 2s. stage 2s will also end up destroying a stock turbo and trans.
