Picked up this tired girl today. Got a whole list of mods that should wake her up. Its a 2000 f-350 reg cab long bed with 120k with a ZF-6 in it. Been sitting for a few years and definitely needs some tlc. Started cleaning it out today and its really not to bad. Beds junk but cab is solid and its got a pretty mint xlt power interior. Im happy with the purchase and glad to have another 7.3 in the family. What do you guys think?

well first off the thing needs an oil pan and i know that you have to pull the motor, flip it over blah blah blah. but im not trying to pull the motor so i will be attempting in in truck oil pan removal. hopefully to prove all the rumors wrong that it cant be done. its not my DD so im going to take my time and make sure there isn't a drop of oil on the block when i put the sealant on. Does ford not offer a rubber or cork gasket for the pan? I pulled the pan on my 95 f450 and the kit came with a gasket. Whats the deal with having to do sealant on the newer 7.3?
besides the pan it needs a new bed i may go with a 2010 bed but mod wise im thinking: foil mod, php 6 position, 6" hood stack feed by a 4" pipe that ill weld up, pyro and boost gauges, 6637 mod, 07 or 2010 mirrors, blast and powder coat the wheels flat black some new rubbers, maybe a wicked wheel or ATS houseing if the turbo surge is bad. Future mod will be an 07 front end convertion
