Door sticker questions

Hi everyone,

First post on this forum, hopefully y'all have got the answers...

I'm looking at buying a 99.5 7.3 (5/99 build) and I've done all the door sticker decoding I can through Google and other forums but 2 things are still eluding me on this particular truck.

The trans code is 'E', which should be an E4OD, but I thought those ended with the OBS trucks in 97

Second, Brake Code of '2', I've seen '4' and 'B', but not '2', any ideas?

Well...my truck is also coded the same. E for Trans and 2 for brakes. The research I did found that E for the trans was a "gas" 4R100 and 2 for the brakes was 4 wheel ABS. This of course does not make sense to me because my truck is an early 99 7.3 and does not have ABS. I too would like any insight on this.
