Correct me if I'm wrong
I was replacing the oil cooler seals last weekend and cracked the bolt on the oil filter elbow of the oil cooler. The bolt that's a 7/16 head. I was thinking for some reason it needed to come loose. Well now theres antifreeze leaking from the bolt. I just need to pull it all of the way loose and put some pipe dope or Teflon tape on it to keep it from leaking right?

That is what I would do. You broke the seal of the bolt.
