Transfer case questions

Got a couple of questions about SD t-cases. First off, what is it called? If i remember right, the manual linkage tcases are NP271, and ESOF is NP273. Is that right? Next, what are the differences between the tcases behind a 4r100 and a zf6? I know the input shaft is different, but is that it? We did a ZF6 swap in my buddies truck and we need to know this stuff so we can finish it up.

My ESOF has 273 wrote on it. I'll have to check my manual shift, but I believe you are right on it too. That is the only difference in the cases. Both will bolt up to either tranny with the input shaft change. I personally went to the manual case with my zf swap just to get rid of all the "e" stuff.
