7.3 swap question

Was thinkin about dropping a 7.3 zf5 combo into a 50 Chevy pickup. Iknow why ruin the motor by doing so, The truck is free. Dad wants a rat rod hauler for the Business. Plans are corporate 14 bolt dually rear 79 chevy 1 ton front suspension 60 year old paint, horse blanket seat covers Oh yeah and a 194? Ford 12ft flat bed complete with wood slat sides.

So the question is how hard is it to wire up one of these motors looking for a superduty to pull the parts from Just cause we are hoping to find a wrecked lower milage 7.3. Are the automatic transmittions that much harder to wire in I can find auto trucks everywhere the manuals are getting harder to find.
