Racor fuel filter vs. Motorcraft filter

I've heard before that it's the same filter with a different name and part number. I've also heard that it isn't the same. Is it the same? Or, if it isn't, is it at least just as good?

As far as I know the Motorcraft filters are made by Racor
I use the Racor filters in my 6.0

I am not totally sure if they are the same but they are both quality fuel filters. The only reason I say I am not sure they are the same is I have seen the Racor marketed as a 10 micron filter (factory spec, same as MC) and a 7 micron filter. Honestly, depending on what efficiency they are referring to, it could be the same filter. Either way both are good filters.
