Tips to buy need advice fast

I found a 1999 f350 with 200k miles it's white its a 6 spd and has 18" rockstars with 37" tires it's got powermax garret bb turbo, intake, 4" down pipe to 5" pipe, ts 6 position.
This is my first time buying a diesel and would like to know pointers to look for and reviews on the powermax turbo

I wouldnt touch a modified truck unless I'd been around the block on SDs a time or two. Too steep a learning curve, too many possible variables that can go wrong.

Its strictly my opinion, but if youre asking these questions, you should not buy a modified diesel. dip your toes into something stock and gently ease yourself into the water. Dont dive in without knowing how to swim.
