Does anyone know if the Snap-On Solus scanner will work for a buzz test or will it test injectors to tell if they are operating up to standards. my brother has that scanner and I wondered if it would work for this test.....Fred

yes it should no problem,my mt 2500 will test also and the solus is next step above the 2500

Thanks for the reply....I will get my brothers scanner and test....what exactly should I be looking at doing the test?....Fred

when you run the test it should test all 8 at once and it should hear a loud buzzing then it will test each one by it self and you should hear buzz if it seams to be real quiet that indicates a problem but also may uvch harness so cheak that fist before thinking it an injector sear quater mod or 50 cent mod that might help if your problem is the harness,also go to page 2 in the forms hear there is a good video on this entitle half glow plugs shot

I saw the video on the buzz test and the 25 cent mod...I didn't know the solus would run the test the same way....Fred

I use the solus at work everyday on a fleet and my personal truck. You can do a buzz test as well as cylinder contribution test and glow plug test.
