Truck Lift

I have been looking around at different leveling kits for my truck and one of my buddies told me today that he has a shackle lift with knuckles? I haven't seen one of these lifts before.... just wondering if any of yall have? if so are they any good and will it make the truck ride like a steel wheeled wagon? My truck is a 2000 f-250 with front and rear leafs.

well if you do a drop shackle kit on your truck, your not adding a leaf to your spring pack causing a stiffer spring setup. With your shackle setup, your just raising your truck an 1 1/2 inch and still retaining your stock spring ride quality. Maybe get a good set of shocks to go along with the shackles and hopefully you will keep the best ride you can with a leafspring truck
