New stereo install won't turn off?

Installed a new clarion deck and ktp445 alpine head unit power pack , plugged it in everything works, but the deck won't shut off with the ignition switch turned off, I have to manually shut it off, so if I have the deck on and turn the ignition off then shut the deck of with the source button, I cannot turn the deck back on untill I turn the ignition switch back on?

Sounds like you mixed up the constant 12v with the switched ACC 12v wire.

Your spot on. The constant 12v on the factory radio harness is the light green/violet wire and the switched ACC 12v is pink check and make sure you have the right connections with the new stereo and that should do the trick.

Lol figured it out, my amp was keeping my deck on, I taped the amp turn on wire into the 12v ignition up by the plug by the dash, the amp was already being turned on by the decks amp turn on wire. So it was feeding power back into the 12v ignition
