fuel sender unit
Somebody swiped my arm and float from my sender unit, I'm doing a Cummins conversion amd all I need is a sender unit. I have read that it's 15 ohms is empty and 165 ohms full? I though the manual called 22.5 ohms empty and 145 full. I'm looking to install an aftermarket unit, where would I find one with these values? I can get my arm travel right.

OK jshalala, I'm looking to leave my Ford's tank fuel pick up intact, and just install a separate sender for the gauge. I'm looking for a marine application with something that works in my Fords gauge's res. values. I may need to use a fixed resistor to do this? I hope someone chimes in with some helpful info. I sure don't want to spend 500 or so dollars on an OEM, only to cut the return mixer out. PLEASE, Thanks Artie
