10k mod?

Ok, I tried doing the 10k mod testerday and I can't seem to get the resistor in the plug the right way in order for it to plug in. Any suggestions or am I doing it wrong? It's like the resistor is hitting the side of the plud and not etting it snap in. Do I put it in the wires before the plug or what? Please help I want to try this mod out.

Try this... Diesel Movies - I install a 10k resistor in the ICP sensor of a 2001 F250 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel.

watched that video 15 times. Sounds stupid but maybe I am missing something? Is it in the wires before the plug and one end in the plug or what? Help?

i'll tell ya... skip this mod and go right to dp tuner... no weird idle, fewer codes, and as I found out last week - if you don't get that plug in all the way it will collect oil, throw a common code that you'll dismiss and make your truck run like crap.

I noticed when I pulled the plug it seemed to have oil in it anyway.

Check out the link up top from blue01F250 it will show you what this mod is.
