Quick question on purchasing a 7.3
I am looking at a 1 owner crew cab dually 4x4 lariat. It has 230k miles. All work done by ford. Trans replaced at 130k. Rear end replaced at 250k because of an accident. Brand new 6 inch lift and new wheels and new bfg tires all the way around. Clean no leaks and no issues other than some upholstry fixes to the drivers seat. I already own a 7.3 that I will sell to after I buy this one my question is whats a good price for it with the miles today? Its been a while since I bought mine and they were worth closer to book price than they are now. Just a general stab at it is good enough. thanks in advance!

Yeah I know its hard without seeing it but its a very solid truck. Maintained my ford regularly and used for all highway with a camper. Its hard to ditch a 7.3 with 123k miles for one with 230k miles but I really want a 4x4 crew dually. I think with the right 7.3 230k is not much to worry about

Really That low? I kinda figured higher with over 3k in new wheels and tires not counting the new lift and all....

I guess you can throw that in but that still is a lot of miles. I mean yea, the motor will hold but there's other stuff that will wind up needing replacing.

Other than everything thats already been done? What else should I expect to replace soon? Like injectors or something?

Well no. HPOP leaks can happen if they already haven't already. Fuel leaks.

Put a picture up of the truck.... What year was it and I was a little confused about the issue with the rear end it says 250k which is more the what the truck has on it unless the truck has 330 .... Also how bad was the accident it was in?
