Installed my WW today

My WW came last night and I couldnt stand it..27 degrees out today and the shop is full of customers crap so I had to do it out front.. Def a difference in sound but I was hoping for a little more but I am still sucking thru the stock airbox. The 6637 kit from rifraff should be here tomorrow Im hoping thats gon awake it up just a tad more.

WW?

Forgive me, I believe you're referring to Wicked Wheel possibly? I'm new and if I am correct in my assumption, can you or someone else explain to me what the Wicked Wheel does? I'd appreciate it...might want to put one on my truck! LOL!!

Ok....surge?

1) What is surge?
2) What causes surge?
3) How do I identify surge?
4) Why is it bad?

Like I said, I'm new...so please forgive my ignorance!

There used to be a bunch of stickies about all kinds of performance upgrades under the 7.3L performance tab. For some reason it appears they have gone missing. Maybe try searching for it because it is a good write up and can explain it better. Surge is a shutter/cha cha cha sound from the turbo when you are putting your truck under heavy load. I noticed it a lot while towing up hills. I cant even do an explaination justice because I will mess it up. Ask/ search for those stickies.

That is exactly what I was towing when it was happening to me. I bought a ported housing and will hopefully be putting that in very soon. I chose that over the WW.
