FIRST SLED PULL

Well headed to the one fair tonight. Knew there was gonnna be truck pulls but in past years they didn't pull diesels. Well I got there and saw some other strokers headed across the scales so i was like dang we gotta get a hitch to pull. So we looked around and ended up borrowin one off of a guy. 8 guys in the diesel class suppose to be stock of course but at least 5 of em that i know of maybe a couple more were had tuners, chips, intakes and exaust. Well I ended up gettin 3rd pulled 261 feet. the first place guy had a cummins and he was lettin the coal roll and had bout 5 inch flames backin them up so ya he wasnt no stock truck lol......2nd place was a powerstroke it was definitely tuned up just about as much as the cummins they were both pullin well over 300. cummins was around 330 and powerstroke was 320 sumthing. They both had traction bars and blocked up and def got er did. but i was very proud gettin 3rd and beating alot of other chipped truck. Felt sorta bad the one guy had a real nice king ranch 250 he had the whole edge pakage and cold air intake and 4 inch turbo back.....hes like what u do to that truck. i told him DIY intake and cut stock exaust with a side pipe and i think he bout crapped himself haha. Anyways definitely a fun time and am plannin on doin it again at another fair in a couple weeks. Also extremely glad i did not break anything......GIT R DONE

Good job! You will be hard pressed to break a stock truck. It has been done but not very often. Just remember...driving is a big part of sled pulling. Get-r-done!

Patrick.. I agree 100%.. with one exception. If it starts bouncing and you don't quit.. you will break something in a stock truck.
