How does the OD switch (button) come out?
I have a 2000 F-250, the OD light comes on sometimes, usually jiggling the shifter will make it go off but sometimes not. It's just the light in the shifter that comes on, the tranny is not going into/out of overdrive...
Anyway I found a replacement switch at LMT for under $10 & thought I would switch it out. Thing is it comes with no instructions. It looks to me like maybe it just sort of pries out, like it's just a pressure fit, but before I screw up my shifter thought I'd ask here: How does the OD on/off button attatch to the shifter, & what is the best way to remove it?
