99 PSD - where to hook up PYROMETER sensor?

Hi Guys,

Any idea where a good hook up point is for the sensor? Also, do you really need a boost guage as well as a pyrometer?

thanks

best place for pyro is in the driver side exhaust manifold towards the back. As for boost no you don't really need it but it is fun to watch!

you drill and ta on teh driver sied manifold at the bend on the engine. as far as you needing to run those gauges. it depends on if you running any tunes. or unless you just like to look at teh gauges to see what your engine is doing. they can be used for troubleshooting also. so if you have a problem and you post teh problem. alot of people are going to asking well what are your temps and boost ect. so its up to you but if you are running a chip and programmer i would highly recommend gauges cause high egts are bad. bigger exhaust will lower egt's. any questions let us know that is why were here. there is a post somewere showing the point where to drill the manifold with pics.
