Anyone try welding the up pipes?
I was wondering if anyone has ever tried this instead of replacing the gaskets or buying the expensive international pipes. Is there any reason why you couldn't do this?

The heat and expansion in that system would cause the welds or parent metal around the welds to crack.

I would think it would be pretty hard to get a weld to work on these. I dont know anyone that's tried it.

Ok. So I got another question. Do I understand it right that the T444 engine used in the international trucks uses bellowed up pipes? Has anyone tried to find one off a wrecked international truck? Would one off a junked international truck fit without any problems?
