Electrical ????

It is nice to let the truck run for a little bit if I go into a gas station or whatever,however when the truck is running the key fob is useless. I was told there was a way to keep the fob active while the truck is running. Anybody know how to do it. There's gotta be something killing it when the key is on.

The fob on my 05 worked while running. What I do is keep a key in the ignition then I carry a key on my person. Even if your truck has the program key, a cheapo copy will still unlock the doors.
