Is this a sign my tranny is taking a dump?
So the last couple days my auto transmission is letting me know when it is downshifting. There is an almost harsh bucking when the trans downshifts. When parked, a slight fluid burning smell is present. I just flushed the fluid 7,000 miles ago including TC. My truck is a 2000 7.3 with 100,000 miles. Could this really be happening? I thought I wasgoing to get another 100,000 miles out of this. Can somebody help me?

the engine last long but as for the tranny ford put a crappy trans in our trucks. i will prolly replace mine at 180k. it will help if you have a tuner with a trans tune on it it has helped with my trans it has lasted longer. check into a dp tuner. they have good trans tunes.
