Electrical issues...HELP

When I turn my truck off my radio stays on.. Also when I open the door I get the constant chime like the key is in the ignition.. My cluster light dimmer doesnt work and My dome light doesnt come on....

I had a friend of mine tell me its probably the GEM module..
What do You guys think?

GEM module or ignition switch or .....?

What? No.

I'd give your ignition a spray of WD40, along with your door latch inside the door, but it's probably the GEM.

Will do... Anyone know where I can buy a GEM module at a fair price?

I wouldn't spray your ignition with WD...that can cause some electrical issues later on, however the door latch I would soak down! That is more than likely the issue and if you do so make sure you keep your door open to let the excess drain out. For some reason the door latch switches get stuck on these trucks and don't electrically tell you the door is open or closed. My F150 did the same thing

Ok I will look into the door switch sticking...

So would that have anything to do with the constant key chime with no key in the ignition or the radio that stays on when the key isnt in the ignition?

Have you done the dinger mod to the ignition tumbler? By that I mean, poped off the clip on the tumbler that causes it to ding? It's possible that it is just contacting metal constantly, causing the ding...

Well my main concern with this is that whatever is causing this is also causing my batteries to drain. Would that tumbler cause the radio to have constant power?
