It was doing good until the front drive shaft snaped in half.

No offense guys.. but I'm glad I wasn't there.

I see several things that look very dangerous to me.

First hooking bumper to bumper like that is a very good way to break things.
Second, using a chain without some kind of recoil dampner is a huge no-no.
Third, I may be wrong, but it appears that the chain is looped over a ball on the powerstroke.. this is an even bigger no-no.

Sorry to hear your broke your truck. Glad to hear nothing else broke and no one was injured.

I don't mean to be a spoil sport, or sound like the "safety police" it's just that I like everyone here, and what they contribute, and I'd hate to lose any of you.

125.00 for front shaft at Bluegass Auto parts, make sure you get the right u joint $50 from ford. Pain in the @ss to match at Carquest.

Bummer about the shaft. Bright color on your rig- you probably don't need parking lights in the fog, they know where you are! ha nice work! get that shaft in and give the Dodge the shaft! ha

Why does it look like it was only a U-joint that broke. I aggree with Aaron on what he said.
