f series powerstroke to e series powerstroke

what is the difference between a f series 7.3 and a e series 7.3? i have a 99 f 250 i blew the 99 f series stroke and replaced it with a 2000 E series powerstroke i put my turbo and waste gate on it but i'm not getting the power i had with the 99 are the injectors different or something?

how can i get the E series to runn like the 99 F series?

btw when we swapped the engines we used everything off my old engine on the E series engine so the only thing thats different is the engine its self

I think the E series are tuned down.

from what the dealer told me (ford dealer) the e series and the f series are the same motor just the e series has no waste gate and a different computer box
my truck has the wastegate and the f series computer box so i'm trying to figure out what the diff is besides the gate and the waste

I think the E series engines had smaller injectors as well like the early 99's and obs trucks

ok i know for a fact that there is no block size difference although the in jectors sounds more like it i was reall ycurious to know if the heads were different in other if to fix the problem i have would i just have to put f series injectors in it or woul di have to change the heads to.

No waste gate on the vans? I dunno, it's almost worth pulling the dog box off mine to check. I also would like to know of the diffrences, I need more power from the van for sure. Can you just put in the newer, or better, injectors? Swap the computer maybe?

if you change the computer to an f series computer it helps a little bit but i'm like you if the injectors are the only difference then i'll go buy injectors
