Radio is Haunted
Todays question. My 2000 F250 has a factory AM/FM/CD/Cassette radio. Seemed adequate for my aging ears, but it has a mind of it's own. Every so often it cycles between radio, cd and cassette, doesn't matter what mode your in when it decides to switch. Got mad at it and shut it off and it turned itself back on. It might be hours between switches or minutes.
Is this a common failure mode? I assume it isn't worth having repaired with so many after market radios with more features available. Jeb |

Dude that is crazy mine does that to I just didnt know anyone elses had done it. Also sometimes when I turn it down when my phone rings or something the volume will go wayyyyyyyy up for a second or two before it comes down. I also have a company E350 with a am/fm radio and when I hit the reflectors when I switch lanes the radio will go up or down........ whatever IT wants

Guess it is a common failure and we all thought we were the only ones. Guess I will not bother trying to buy a Ford replacement.
