how can i fix my intake???? please help

I just bought an excursion. It has a k&n on it and i want to get rid of it. But was curious is there any filter i could put on the k&n instead of getting rid of it completely????

Get rid of it. I just put a 6637 on the end of my k&n pipe last week. I have a new turbo wheel odered because of the k&n. Maybe it was lack of maintenance on my part, but the 6637 looks like the clear winner.

X2 on the diy 6637... I've done them on all my superdutys, would do it on my work van if I could get it to fit under the hood, and even done one on my buddy's truck... It's the first mod I did to the Ex when we got it... go for it.

But then it won't be a cold air intake. Is that bad?

It gets enough cold air via the fender hole. It's not worth worrying about.
