Fog Light Wiring
Hey guys, My truck is going in for the 05 conversion, Id love to put factory fog lights on it. Where do I look for the wiring pigtails because my truck didnt come with them from the factory. Are they even existent on my truck?
If so, where would they be hiding. If not, What wires can I tap into or would it just be worth running relays for them and wires into my truck? Id like to keep the stock headlight switch working for fogs,....IE; If i had to wire in my own relays id like to be able to tap into the headlight switch and when I pull for fogs they come on. Possibilities? Thanks, Tony |

Look down behind the bumper near where the license plate is (or would be if don't have one). The harnesses should be there because they probably put a standard wire set in.

I figured, I just havent gotten down there yet....My license plate is held on with jethro sized zip ties.

The wiring is on the driver's side of the truck, I want to say pinned to the fender, behind the bumper. BUT, it won't work with your factory switch, and I cannot guarantee it will work if you replace the stock switch with a fog switch. I just wired mine into my running lights (with a relay) so that they come on whenever the running lights are on.

If the wiring is actually there, why woudlbt it work if a headlight switch with fogs was installed....lack the pinout for it?
