Need black CPS! Help!

Hey guys new to the forum but I have been on the others for years. I need some help. I just burned up my last black cps and need another. my truck won't run worth a crap with the grey or new dark blue type. It only likes the original black ones.

Does anyone have an extra in the glove box or under the work bench. I would like to buy one as soon as possible.

eBay's got them for @$110 I think (remember though, they actually cost More than that originally)

I searched ebay with no luck. Only grey

Forget the illustration, they often get mixed-up, I think this is what you're looking for, call or write them to be sure (they have several)

Thats the one. I am going to contact them an see if they are actually selling that sensor or the grey one. I have heard of people paying top dollar for the old style and then recieving the "new and improved" grey style which you can get anywhere for $25.

Did the eBay seller not really have that one? Was he actually putting that part# on the grey one!

I tried contacting them with no reply and so did another forum member. They have the right part number and a return policy but I'm a little gun shy after talking to clay at riffraff diesel. He said be carefull on ebay b/c he has had customers pay a premium price on ebay and get the cheap part. I don't want to go through all the hassle of a return right now. but it could be legit too.

I can't speak as to this seller with personal experience. I think I Do have a "nose" for scammers and sellers who I'd be wary of. To me, this guy kinda passes that "smell test"

He obviously specializes in Ford parts (calls himself Ford-parts-depot) so he can't claim he's not an expert who wouldn't know the difference... He also has excellent feedback and is currently offering almost 100K items. If it were me, I take a shot

I have in my hand now... I have 3 spares... the spare in my truck is

I have 2 other spares that I have bought over the yrs... not knowing the black was going to be replaced before hand...

F4TZ-12K073-C----DARK GREY
F7TZ-12K073-B----LIGHT GREY

If this ebay seller is legit he just might have the black CPS... I would ask for him to take a pic and show it.... I might do this as well... I could use anther black CPS... even though I payed $75 for mine at the time...

I have sent that e-bay seller a message.... I asked for pic of the CPS in the package... showing the color... I also told him... If he was legit and actually had the actual Black CPS... He best have more then a handfull.... Once the word gets out... He will have a few hundred orders... If he is actually showing the Black CPS Part# and selling the Light Grey CPS he would not be making any new friends...
