So I was unaware that the power steering/power brake pump took ATF. I had to replace a hose on the pump and I topped it off with about 3/4 of a quart of power steering fluid. Will I see any problems.

If you're in a really cold or hot climate I'd recommend synthetic ATF as well.

You might run into some issues. The PS set ups on these trucks requires Mercon ATF, not power steering fluid. The good news, most any of the cheapest ATFs will work. I have Wally World Dex/Merc in mine...seems to be doing just fine.

Just did this yesterday...it's an easy 15 min operation with one person. I can't say it made my pwr steering whine quiet down much if any, but the brake pedal def feels firmer...I used a clear vinyl hose to flush so I could see what was coming out and when it started clearing up during the flush...which was about 2 quarts..I did a 3 quart flush just to be anal. The old fluid was very dark. Its easy and cheap maintenance.
