They no longer make BFG AT in my size... help me decide on new tires
Ok so here is the scoop...
I have always had BFG All-Terrain tires on my trucks. I LOVE THEM. However, I have just found out that they no longer make them in 315/75/r16 which is what I run on my F250 with a level kit. I know I may be able to find some out there but I use a local shop that has a big sale on Black Friday. I save big bucks on them and if I have them install them, they rotate them for free (which is handy). I am looking for suggestions on what to get. 1) My truck is my daily driver so I need good road handle. 2) i loved the aggressive look of the BFG ATs so yes looks are important to me 3) I tow my horses with it and they love to put the trucks and trailers in the middle of a pasture so I do need something as equal as aggressive as the BFGs are. 4) I am not against Mud Tires but I have to be convienced. I don't want to worry about loosing grip everytime I pull out when the road surface is wet and I want good milage from the tire. These BFGs are almost bald now but I also have 67,000 miles on them. So lets hear your thoughts. Pics would be great. Just the fact I have waited this long for a sale means that I also have to worry about cost so please don't mention a tire that is more expensive than most peoples first ride they ever bought. This site has always come through for me so I am hoping for the best. Again, PICS ARE GREAT!!!!!! |

Was looking at them too but they were a little steep in price IMO. Know people who have them and said they liked them alot. |

Cause these are 140 on tire rack up to about 165 locally. Sry, that was for a 235/85R16. I looked on tire rack and the BFG AT T/A KO was special priced at 223 for a 315/75R16. The General Grabber AT2 for a 315/75R16 was 203 each. Last edited by jesilvas; 11-13-2011 at 05:20 PM. |

ok, the nittro grapplers look kinda boring. (just being honest)
The General Grapplers seem very close to the BFGs. Is that true? Anyone else thoughts on the Duratracks? Do they make all of these in the big sizes? I don't want to go smaller. i wan the 315/75/r16 |

Where did you go that said they stopped making that size? I work for a Michelin distributor and I'll check tomorrow to see if this is true cause I was going to get them in that size for my truck.
