99.5 Remote Start

Hey guys, whats the best kit to install for remote start/alarm?

All opinions welcome! Is there any general plug and play options? or is it all scotch blocks and tap into wires?

Thanks, Tony

I didn't find anything that were just plug and play at least not for anywhere what I wanted to spend. I spent ~$50 on the one in my signature from amazon and wired it myself with some prior stereo install experience and a little wiring guide help from online. Power locks still work so was able to ditch the standard keyless entry remote.

You're not going to find anything plug and play, well, maybe if you go to the dealer, but that will be expensive... If you have the right instructions, installing one in a breeze.

do you plug these devices into the OSBII data port? I've got an Edge Insight plugged in that is going to stay.

No, you've got to wire them in.
