Brought home a '99 F-250 today

Here it is . . .

After taking it to a trusted mechanic and having it looked over he gave me the 'go ahead'. Drove it home tonight, it's so nice to be back in a truck. I will get more pics after I get it cleaned up. It's a 1999 7.3L, 2WD, Lariat, 233k miles. Got it for $6950 OTD! Here in OK we have to pay an excise tax and tag separately so it will probably cost me another $300 by the time I get it tagged. I feel like a got a GREAT deal

Smile

Like your wheels, same as my 99 SD F250. Got 2 more from Autoparts USA if you looking for any.
I paid $60,000 here in Australia for mine, only done 158000 klms when I got it and cost me $3000 to transfer from Queensland to Victoria !! Count your blessing mate, cheers

Just to give you a heads up from the location of your powerstroke badge (front fender) it looks like it is a e99... This is important at times when you are doing maintenance or other upgrades. Not sure how much you know about these...

Not much . . . production date is 03/98. I went to NAPA to buy an air filter yesterday and they had 2 versions. I ended up buying both and will return the unused one today. The one that fit has a 1/2" foam liner on the bottom, never seen anything like it. Thanks for the heads up!
